Gold Nugget for today: Distractions

Staying focus while distractions are all around you may be one of the hardest concepts to grasp in life. By you focusing in on learning your purpose, you must commit to making S.M.A.R.T Goals in life (I’ll get to the meaning in just a minute). The foundational stages in learning your purpose are the most crucial yet time consuming process you will ever experience. A Pot of GOLD is given to you by author Paul J. Meyer from his book titled: Attitude is Everything- He will provide you with an outstanding outline for setting S.M.A.R.T Goals in life.

S.M.A.R.T Goals:

Specific- A specific goal will usually answer the five "W" questions:

• What: What do I want to accomplish?
• Why: Specific reasons, purpose or benefits of accomplishing the goal.
• Who: Who is involved?
• Where: Identify a location.
• Which: Identify requirements and constraints.

Measurable-A measurable goal will usually answer questions such as:
• How much?
• How many?
• How will I know when it is accomplished?

Attainable- While an attainable goal may stretch you in order to achieve it, the goal is not extreme. An attainable goal will usually answer the question:

• How: How can the goal be accomplished?

Relevant- A relevant goal can answer yes to these questions:
• Does this seem worthwhile?
• Is this the right time?
• Does this match our other efforts/needs?
• Are you the right person?

Time-bound- A time-bound goal will usually answer the question:
• When?
• What can I do 6 months from now?
• What can I do 6 weeks from now?
• What can I do today?

With this knowledge I hope you take it and run with it!!! Remember Growth is Intentional and you’re responsible for it. Take the time Everyday~Grow Forward.
