Gold Nugget for today: Your Logic Will Never Compare

Your logical thinking will never compare or comprehend the high thoughts of God. So why do we continue to bring to the table of God our logical thoughts instead of our faith. We are people who believe more in our limited logical thinking rather than the limitless power of having faith in God. It is imperative that we shift our thinking to reflect the thoughts of God. You may ask me how this is done. The paradigm shift of your mind is automatic by shifting the Commander in Charge of your thoughts. You must tune into the thoughts of God by reading his blueprint of thoughts- which is the word of God (The Bible). We have to go beyond what our soul (our will, emotions, and mind) orders us to do, and tap into the power source of God’s infinite thoughts of faith.

A great example would be the children of Israel in the bible where they were faced with a dilemma that could have cost their very lives. Moses under the usher of God had just led the people of God out from under the suppressing hands of Pharaoh. But a dilemma arose when the people of God reached the Red Sea- they needed to cross over to safety located on the other side. I can only imagine that at that very moment of being stuck in the middle of a raging Egyptian army coming to slay them on one end and the Red Sea on the other end preventing them to cross over, that thousands of anxiety attacks were happening all at once.

While reading this story your logical thinking would presume to say that it was over for Israel. But God had a different plan-God told Moses who was full of FAITH to stretch out his rod towards the sea and watch the glory of God take control. The Red Sea was immediately divided into two liquid walls, providing a way of escape for His people to walk on dry land to the other side. God ALWAYS has a way of escape for you no matter how IMPOSSIBLE to solve the problem may seem to be-God has you covered. So tell your soul to get in its rightful place, and allow God to be Chief and Commander of your thoughts- jack up your faith people!! Batter up my friend because it’s time for you to Step up to the plate of faith and hit a home run with your circumstances. The story of Israel crossing through the Red Sea can be found in Exodus 14 in the Bible.

Can I Help You Heal: A Tattooed Heart

During this time of unveiling your heart’s truth I want you to focus in on the emotional state of your heart. Everything we feel, felt, or will experience in our life is stored in the memory banks of our heart. Imagine your heart as an onion; the deeper you pull back the layers of your heart, the harder it will become to express what’s really painfully tattooed on your heart. The tattoos on your heart represent the hurtful memories that we’ve buried in the depths of our heart.  

Think back with your heart, are you still hurt and angered by the broken situations that occurred in your past? You may think you’re over it but your heart is still carrying that painful residue of your past (Search your past relationships). So how do we let it all go? We let it go by talking about it; silence to your pain is the salt to your open womb-Be Silent NO MORE. You’ve been QUIET long enough, and no more will we be bound by “What goes on in this house stays in this house.” Your heart recovery depends on it; you must find someone (A Counselor or a TRUSTworthy person) who you can share the tattoos of your heart with.

Listen my friend, you may have physically move on (broken off the engagement, escape your abuser/manipulator, the pain of your past) but is your heart still tattooed with the residue of your past? I want to help you heal on this journey to unveiling your heart’s truth, and your first assignment is to find someone to talk to. 

I’m here as well I want to be the ear to your story- You are safe here, come have a chat with me. Healing is more like a marathon than a sprint across the finish line; find someone who is willing to be patient with you as you reveal your heart’s truth. “Will the fat lady sing for you?” The fulfillment of your dreams is governed by the commitment level to your dreams. YOU CAN DO THIS!!!! Do you not know that you’re more than able to bring to pass anything that God downloads into your heart to do; no dream is too small or too big. But what we must do is take our power back!!  

STOP giving your power away to individuals who don’t carry the faith nor the capacity to help further along the dreams that are inside of you, and  STOP listening to negative naysayers- they are there to remind you that you’re no longer average but on the verge to living an extraordinary life. You’re a part of something major and it is gonna be good.  Remember to never quit and that you have full control of when your fat lady sings. DREAM ON DREAMER I’M ROOTING FOR YOU!!

Love Nugget for today: Small Acts of Love

Today my friend I want to challenge you to perform small acts of love. If you desire to be love, love others-sow seeds of love into the lives of others, which you desire in return. Small acts of love comes in various forms- mowing someone’s lawn, helping an elderly up the stairs, taking someone out to lunch, or even as simple as giving someone a genuine hug or a smile can go a long way. 

In doing this not only will you feel better about yourself but your kind actions of love will brighten someone else’s day as well. And if you really want to turn your love walk up a notch, show small acts of love towards the ones you rather not deal with- you know the individual who gives you an ulcer every time you see them; make a decision to show them love today.

It is so easy to show love to the ones who love you, but to choose to love unconditionally the individuals who have wrong you, you my friend have just entered into a God-reflected kind of love. So no matter how small or big your love action may be today, keep in mind that it can only begin the moment you make a decision to walk in love. Will you accept the challenge? 

Remember to commit to being the love that you want to see in return.

Love Nugget for today: Matters of the Heart

Did you ever break a bone as a kid and yelled out for help, only to find out that your helper came and placed a Band-Aid on the surface part of your internal womb…Now how is that going to help your broken bone? As adults we tend to do the same thing concerning the wombs of our hearts- masking our internal pain with an external solution. Your heart plays a major role in creating new cycles for your life, whether negative or positive ones. Jesus said in Matthew 11:28 “Come to me all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest.” The lord is speaking to you right now for you to come to him with the matters of your heart.

 I recently became transparent with God regarding how I really felt about the death of my father- I was angry and couldn’t make sense of it all. Have you ever had a situation to where you couldn’t make sense of your loss or painful breakup? God is such a patient and caring God, his desire for you is to come to him with the real issues of your heart. Although the Lord is fully aware of the issues that you carry in your heart, he is a gentleman in waiting for you to share with him the matters of your heart. 

Freedom comes when the truth is exposed, so expose to God the painful truth of your heart. Take time to sit on God’s counseling couch, I’m a living witness to the fact that God’s counseling sessions work!! And you don’t have to empty out your life savings to be counsel by God. Love Nugget for today: Forgiveness is Key

Your heart is like a garden that must be attended to on a daily bases. Whatever you plant in the soil of your heart will grow to be that which you planted. It’s inevitable that seeds of unforgiveness will soon grow into plants of bitterness-out of your heart springs forth the issues of life. Evaluate the essence of your heart today and up root any unforgiving weeds that you find growing in the dark hidden places of your heart. Healing cannot take place until the fertilizer of forgiveness is sprinkled on the soils of your heart.

Forgiveness is not for the individuals that hurt or disappointed you; forgiveness is for YOU and YOU only. It’s the key to unlock the chains of bitterness from around your heart. Trust me it is not easy to forgive others until you realize who first forgave you. Jesus Christ forgave us of ALL of our sins and wrong doings, knowing this we must forgive one another. I will not deny the pain and hurt that you must feel right now as you reflect back on the individual(s) that took your love for granted or disappointed you somehow, however the reality is moving forward will be a dragging process until you let it go.

Bitterness in your life not only affects you personally, but your love ones as well. Let it go!! I know it hurts…Let it go! You may have to cry through your forgiveness but let it go and HEAL. I love you my friend and I know through this challenging time in your life I know you will get through this; just remember you’re not alone.

I believe it is inevitable for defining moments to find you. You are the magnet force that draws your defining moments to you. So what does your forehead read? Be mindful of what you think and say because whatever you put out into the universe has to respond with your decree. Defining moments brings assurance that you’re on the right path to your success. These defining moments also provides you with a well needed boast of morale to continue on your journey of leaving your successful footprint in the world’s sand.

Your defining moments may come in a different packaging than others-casting a role for a movie of choice, approval for your business loan, a child born into this world,  Wedding bells ringing, a spiritual breakthrough, over even trails and tribulation have a defining moment affect. What I have learned thus far in life is to speak what I want to see rather than what my current situation is, thus giving you the ripple effect to having your defining moment find you.

You have it in you; you are a force to be reckoned 
with. Knowing WHO YOU ARE and WHO SENT 
YOU gives you the unshakable force to do the impossible. With this force you are able to reach the unreachable; you’ll be exposed to the deep hidden treasures of God’s infinite wisdom and power-You are equipped and purposed to make every last one of your dreams a reality- You have it in you. You are a force to be reckoned with. You are David who took one strategy from his pouch and destroyed his Goliath.

I AM is your image and He is God- the one who sent you, commissioned you, predestined you to prosper. The windows of heaven are open to you-you are sitting under an open sky-take whatever you need. You don’t need money; you need an idea from God and His wisdom to carry out that idea. And for ALL the individuals who desire to be in a relationship, you must first become the individual that which you seek to be in a relationship with (that man cannot complete you nor can that woman, ONLY GOD possess the ability to complete you). Everything that you need and desire God has it tuck away just for you-Will you seek him for your proportion?

Gold Nugget for today: Rest…Recuperate…and Get Direction.

Sometimes in life we forget to rest from the demands of life which allows life to consume your strength, time, and energy. But my friend you must make time to rest, recuperate, and position yourself to receive clear direction for what is next. Ask the Lord what is next for your life, or better yet ask him to help and direct you into the rest He has for your life. It is necessary for us all to get the proper amount of physical rest; however your mental rest is just as important; your physical body may be resting but your mind is going haywire which causes restlessness and fatigue. It’s time for you to rest and recuperate your soul so that you will be positioned to receive clear direction for what is next in your life.     

Having clear direction from the Lord takes your willingness to enter into his rest. So how do you enter into God’s rest? You first start by recognizing that you need rest (ask yourself “Am I physically and mentally exhausted?” If so keep in mind that recognition is the ignition to change. Secondly you want to get lost in God’s word: create time to study God’s word…Lunch breaks are great starts), and thirdly enter into a hiding place with God (ask the Lord to create a hiding place for you so that you can receive direction for what is next). Sometimes in order for you to enter into God’s rest you must separate yourself from people and things, because hearing God's voice ONLY will give you the directions that you need to guide you into the next phase of your life. Scriptures that will get you started: Hebrews 4, Psalm 62: 1, 2, 5-8.

Gold Nugget for today: Seasonal Changes-Create a Vision Board

The seasons of our lives are constantly changing whether starting your own business, changing jobs, saying “Yes” to a proposal, or even planning a funeral for a love one, whatever the season may be change is always in occurrence. But in the midst of all of this change going on, I want to inspire you to happen to life and don’t allow life to happen to you. Take your God-given control back over your life by deciding to steer life into the right direction. But first you must have a vision for your life or for this season of your life.

Create a vision board for your life by using pictures from a magazine or cut and paste pictures from online. Where ever you generate your pictures from the most important part is to make a collage out of them. For example on my vision board you will find a picture of an Audi Q7 (my all-time dream truck) which will be purchase debt free with all inclusive upgrades. During this seasonal change I want you to focus on how you want your ending to look like, than create a replica of your vision on your vision board by using pictures and words. When you’re done place your vision board in a place where it is visibly seen by you and your love ones.

The holidays are already here and while Black Friday draws near, please stick to your budget. The black Friday ads are EVERYWHERE!! And running like this pasted election hoping to get your shopping vote, but please stick to your budget. Now don’t get me wrong I enjoy a sale or two but don’t spend what you cannot afford. Your family and friends should respect their affordable yet lovely gifts that they will received from you, especially when you give the gifts from your heart.

DO NOT let your “have to have” emotions steer you during this Black Friday experience that is the job of YOUR BUDGET (I heard Superman’s intro music when I said that lol). Don’t get me wrong again; still have fun pitching your tent in front of your store of choice, or setting 6 alarms to wake you in the wee hours so that you can make it just before the doors open, whatever floats your boat do it with a budget. What you say out of your mouth today can determine how your tomorrow will look; you are living in a world of your words. God has given us the ability to decree a thing and it shall be establish (see Job 22:28). What you speak out of your mouth now whether negative or positive will set into motion the direction of your future. That is why it so important that you have a vision for your life, because you can speak words that are in compliance with your destiny; you’re responsible for the words that you speak. If your world continues to feed you negativity, than change the words that you speak.

I challenge you to speak positive affirmations over your life today like “I shall fulfill the highest expression of myself as a human being” and watch the immediate change happen within yourself first and then the positive change that will occur to your world thereafter.  Change Your Words Change Your Life.

Gold Nugget for today: Move Forward

No matter what my friend move forward. There may be experiences or people who try their best to remind you of your past, but you continue to move forward. Romans 8:1 says “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” When you gave your life to Christ your past was erased from God’s memory. The enemy however, specializes in filing your past events in his memory. 

His mission is to condemn and constantly remind you of what you use to be.  But you are NOT what you use to be, you’re a blood wash believer, whose sins were forgiven the minute you confessed with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believed in your heart that the Lord had risen Christ from the dead (see Romans 10:9). Move forward my friend, because you are on the right track. STAY FOCUS!!

If you haven’t had the wonderful opportunity to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, here is your chance right now.

Say this out Loud: Lord Jesus I come to you just as I am, a sinner. You said in your word that if I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in my heart that God raised Christ from the dead that I am saved. I believe Jesus that you are Lord and I know in my heart that God has risen You from the dead. I am now SAVED!! In Jesus name Amen.

If you said this prayer I want to personally welcome you to the family!! All of your sins have been forgiven and now you’re a new person in Christ Jesus. The next step is to renew your mind with the word of God by reading the bible (See Romans 12:1-2). And then find yourself a bible based church home that possesses the love of Christ. Aristotle asserted that “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.” Wow! Do you know what this mean? Excellence is not a particular act or gift that we are born with; it is a habit that we can learn. This is great news for both you and me because every gift and talent that we have on the inside of us can become excellence by consistently putting in the time and effort into our craft(s). You growing in your craft(s) are based on the commitment level to your plan of discipline; Excellence can be learned.

Gold Nuggets for today: You’re More Prepared than You Think

Sometimes in life we question our ability to do things that require us to come from out of our comfort zone. In retrospect I found this to be true, by leaving your comfort zone activates supernatural events to occur in your life. You’re more prepared than you think. Once you get passed that over exaggerated phase of worrying and fearfulness, step into what God has lain upon your heart to do.

You may desire to go back to school but fear is keeping you from going, “GO” You’re more prepared than you think. Or what about starting your own business, writing those book(s), stepping into a healthy relationship after being by yourself for many years, etc. whatever it may be you’re more prepared than you think.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. asserted during one of his speeches that “Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.” It takes faith to trump your small fears into doing something extraordinary. Come alive my friend and take that first step of faith towards fulfilling your dreams and God will take it from there…You’re more prepared than you think.

Gold Nugget for today: Finding Your New Balance

This week God open tremendous doors for me that will definitely take me and my ministry to another level. Everything was happening so fast and to be frank with you it was exciting yet over whelming all at once; I was thrown off balance. Sometimes in life even GOOD opportunities can throw you off balance. So how do you get back to that serene place of balance? You do this by first taking a look at what is on your plate. Re-evaluate your commitments from your responsibilities and make sure you’re not being stretch way to thin.

Seasonal commitments are not long term responsibilities. With that said finish your recent commitments to others and then cut away base on priority levels. Believe me I’m working on this right now in my life (finding a new balance) and it feels good to know that Growth Development is taking place. I hope this helped you as much as it did me. Helpful Tips:

• Write down your entire day to day responsibilities base on priority levels, followed by your recent commitments.

•  Find your new balance by removing “busy work” from your life- work that consumes your time and adds no value to your life.

• Use WISDOM before allocating your valuable time.
