TrueLoveWaits: Pray for Your Future Husband

Pray for your husband that you are longing to meet one day- pray for the stableness of his mind, the purity of his heart, the full acceptance of God’ s vision for his life, and the unconditional love that he will walk in concerning you. Pray that he will be present and rejoice with you during the good times, and will grow with you through the bad times.

Pray for your husband’s total deliverance from fear and insecurities; pray for the complete healing of his soul- Pray for your future husband. It is very well possible for you to know your future husband before meeting him face to face; that’s the power of prayer. Prayer is the needle and thread that stitches your heart threads to his. Voice to God the desires of your heart and qualities that you want in your husband.

Pray for his well-being and the mending of family relationships. Pray for God to bless you with amazing in-laws who will love and care for you just as much as he will. Pray in accordance to your heart-make mention in prayer of the things that God speaks to your heart about concerning your future husband.

Every day I want you to ask the Lord to give you direction on what to pray about concerning your husband, be consistent with your daily prayers. While praying for him don’t be alarm when the Lord reveals to you something about yourself that needs to be changed or embraced. You have to keep in mind that your future husband where ever he may be is praying the same prayer just for you. Just like the Lord is honoring your prayer for your husband, He is also honoring your husband’s prayer as well for his wife.

So when the Lord unveils your heart’s truth to you, don’t get bend out of shape, He’s just preparing you to meet your future husband face to face. And when that time comes when your family and friends stand to welcome you down the aisle of your wedding, witnessing you both make your covenant vow to marriage before God and man, don’t stop praying for your husband after the I Dos.

Find Your Keys

Oh how wonderful it is to live with the peace of God and to know him better, in this should be our daily pursuit. So how do we get to a place of entering into the rest of God? Prayer, prayer is the key which unlocks the door to the presence of the King. Time and time again the Lord desires to form a relationship with us through the intimacy of prayer. Prayer is simply talking with God; He so patiently waits to hear from his children and when there is no key unlocking the door to His presence, He simply awaits another day longing to hear from us all. You must understand that God is not a tyrant King waiting to strike us down every time we make a mistake. No!! He is a Just, kindhearted God who patiently waits to hear and meet the needs of our prayers.
It simply amazes me to comprehend that God (Supreme Ruler) desires to speak with us. Take the President of the United States for example, you cannot freely walk into the White House and speak with the President without being pinned down to the floor, or being asked a series of questions first. The only way you would be able to see, little alone speak with the President is through protocols being met, and a scheduled appointment. But with God there is only one protocol he ask of us and that is “Come to Him.” Matthew 11:28 says Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Is God not greater than the President? Is He not greater than you or your friends? God, who is Supreme Ruler and maker of everything; desires nothing but to have a conversation with you; you have an appointment to speak with the Lord and this one you cannot afford to postpone anymore. Heaven is waiting to meet your request of prayers. You may say “I have the slightest clue as to how to pray,” that’s ok my friend because found in the book of Matthew 6:9-13 Jesus gives us (his disciples’) a guideline to prayer, and it reads: In this manner, therefore, pray:
      Our Father in heaven,
      Hallowed be Your name.
       10 Your kingdom come.
      Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
       As we forgive our debtors.
13 And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
Praise God for his word!!! The Lord desires to give us our daily supply that we will need in a course of a day, and so much more. We are all on this journey of getting to know the heart of God, and if you’re not I recommend getting to know Him by allowing Jesus to come into your heart and change you from the inside out. You are love my friend J God loves you so very much that he sacrificed His only begotten son for you (see John 3:16). I challenge you today to have a conversation with God. Forget about what happened in the past and come to God just as you are; repentant and start over. Remember the Lord has given you the keys to His kingdom, just find your keys and unlock the door to His presence. God Bless!!
